Motherly Mercy

When the weight of the world becomes too much to bear with stagnant energy causing time to blur and people on pause waiting for fresh air you lay awake praying for the winds to turn fair - Adiela Akoo, Motherly Mercy (poem excerpt)
Motherly Mercy - Adiela Akoo

Motherly Mercy

When the weight of the world becomes too much to bear with stagnant energy causing time to blur and people on pause waiting for fresh air you lay awake praying for the winds to turn fair

When the cries of the world become too much to bear with people being killed without a care and the tiniest coffins the heaviest to bear you lay awake instinctively curled womb-like but you can't escape this nightmare

When the wanton woes of the world become too much to bear and you lay tightly curled cocooning the solar plexus feeling helpless to fix this faulty world DO NOT LOSE HOPE! Do not despair! It's not too late! This is check, not checkmate!

So turn your tearful gaze focus on the ever flowering grace STILL present here! Connect to the energizing earthly energies everywhere Her nourishing beauty and Motherly Mercy will help your withered spirit bloom again your weary soul repair

And you'll soon feel inspired once again to improve the world from within then out there
