With gratitude to insights gained and lessons learned during my term in office, and due to increased demands on my time, I have decided against extending my services for a further term and have declined the position of Chair for 2022. I hereby announce my resignation as vice-chair of Litasa, KZN. I remain passionate about literacy and will continue to promote it at my discretion.

Honoured to have been approached and commissioned to represent the Durban UNESCO City of Literature for this project and create with 11 amazing poets from: Utrecht, Edinburgh, Wonju, Melbourne, Odessa, Heidelberg, Manchester, Bucheon, Dunedin, Nottingham, and Ulyanovsk.

Adiela Akoo attends the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair Publishers Conference.

Showcasing 1.5 million titles, SIBF 2022 slogan is ‘Spread the Word’, and conveys the message: “Words can build the future and change realities, so befriend and stay close to them”.
​
SIBF 2022 hosted 2,213 publishers, comprising 1,298 from the Arab region and 915 from around the world. In my capacity as CEO of Quilled Ink Press, I'm thrilled to be counted among them and attend the 12th SIBF Publishers Conference which is part of SIBF.
​
With an impressive array of informative talks from industry top guns often followed by back-to-back meetings, it has been a helpful learning curve.
